How we evaluate platforms: the Caliber Score

By D. Goldsmith · Reviewed by ReviewCaliber editorial desk · Published July 25, 2026 · Last updated July 25, 2026

The Caliber Score is a 100-point framework across nine weighted categories. Every point awarded is tied to documented public evidence with a source link and a check date. We publish it so you can disagree with a specific score rather than the ranking as a whole.

The nine categories

CategoryWeightWhat earns points
Ease of setup and use15How quickly a new account can go from signup to a live request, and how much configuration stands in the way.
Platform coverage15Number and breadth of review destinations supported, including directories beyond the four major consumer platforms.
Campaign controls15Control over timing, pacing, channel, message content and per-review settings before anything sends.
Pricing and flexibility15Whether pricing is published, whether a contract is required, and how well cost tracks actual usage.
Reporting and visibility10Dashboards, exports, attribution and multi-location roll-ups.
Integrations10Documented connectors to CRM, field-service, practice-management and similar systems; public API.
Multi-business support10Handling several businesses or locations under one account with correct scoping.
Customer support/resources5Published support channels, help centre depth, onboarding resources and any stated SLA.
Security and account controls5Authentication, session handling, role-based permissions and published security posture.

Evidence rules

How products are ordered

Every ordered list on this site — including the home page — is generated from one function, in this order:

  1. Higher Caliber Score first.
  2. Ties are broken alphabetically by product name. The tie-break is deliberately neutral and has nothing to do with ownership, commercial relationship or link value.

There is no third rule. No product is promoted, pinned, floated or held back, and no page hand-orders its list. Where a product is labelled “best for” a particular use case, that label describes a category strength shown in the tables below — it does not move the product up the list. On the current evidence that places ReviewNetwork, which shares an owner with this site, third of four.

Conflict of interest

ReviewCaliber is operated by Alpha Marketing Group, which also owns ReviewNetwork. We handle that by publishing the framework, applying it identically, and reporting the result whatever it is. On the current evidence ReviewNetwork ranks third of four with 76/100. See the full disclosure.
